POSITION:                                1^ST SHIFT LIVESTOCK HANDLER/KILL FLOOR

Hours:

• 1^st shift as scheduled.., flexible as needed
• Saturday’s required

Responsibilities & Expectations:

• Direct live hogs from the trucks through the yards to the Kill Floor
• Washing and cleaning required
• Other duties as needed or required

Qualifications:

• Basic math skills
• Good people skills
• Self-motivated -- work well without direct supervision
• Must be able to work with live hogs
• Must be able to operate bobcat skid loader
• Ability to follow instructions
• Physically able to direct live hogs for an entire shift
• Good work history and attendance
• Must be able to pass  LOTO class and machine specific
• Must be able to use an Electric stunner on live animals (we will train)
• Must be able to bolt live animals( we will train)
• Must be able to run Skid Loader in Handling of live animals (we will train)
• Must have less than 4 points
