SUMMARY

We are looking for a motivated and highly organized team player to manage
and execute JFW email marketing programs.  As an Email Marketing Associate, you will help create personalized 1:1 content-driven email marketing communications, formulating tests, analyzing results, and providing recommendations to Management. To be successful, you will need a unique combination of strong creativity and analytical skills to take these email programs to the next level.  The Associate will work directly with the Business Stakeholder to implement the overall strategy to drive increased sales and ROI from the email channel. This role will be instrumental in building a best-in-class email program that drives conversion and improves customer retention.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, oversee, and execute email marketing campaigns targeted throughout the customer lifecycle
  • Create and communicate reports (weekly, season, ad hoc, etc.) that analyze campaign performance, leading to continuous improvement of user experience and overall ROI
  • Working with business stakeholders, use database management skills to target customers based on behaviors and demographics
  • Launch new A/B tests, analyze results, and identify actionable opportunities and best practices to improve campaign performance
  • Create brand-compliant landing pages from existing templates; work with the front-end developers to execute A/B testing and optimization to improve conversion rates and lead quality
  • Manage the setup and deployment of complex automated communications within Salesforce Marketing Cloud and future Customer Data Platform
  • Use strategic problem-solving skills to ensure successful campaign launches
  • Present results and recommendations to senior level management on a regular basis
  • Work with other key business stakeholders including, DTC, creative, digital, brand marketing, webservices and database developers
  • Resident expert and hands-on user of email service provider platform, Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Within the platform, you will be manipulating HTML, segmenting audiences, setting up A/B tests, and serving as a final quality assurance check before campaigns are launched
  • Understanding luxury marketing to communicate effectively with high-net worth and aspiring wine collectors

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience, including at least 1 year in an email marketing role required
  • Experience with a large-scale ESP is a must; Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience preferred
  • Experience with producing and deploying emails through an email service provider
  • Google Analytics experience required
  • Familiarity with email marketing best practices for revenue generation
  • Knowledge of list segmentation strategies and experience with CDP platforms
  • Understanding of email fundamentals: CAN-SPAM, segmentation, list/data extension management, KPIs, etc.
  • Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.)
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Detail oriented with focus on delivering results
  • Self-starter, takes initiative, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Ability to partner with multiple cross functional teams
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Direct to consumer e-commerce experience, wine industry a plus (not required)
  • Experience in HTML/CSS/AMPScript, Dreamweaver or Photoshop
