OTT Programming & Content Curation Coordinator - IGN

We are seeking a Programming and Content Curation Coordinator to further build our presence on O.T.T. platforms including Samsung TV Plus, Pluto TV, and more. Candidates must be organized, creative, and results-driven with a background in content curation and a strong understanding of programming in both linear and digital spaces. This role will be required to create weekly programming schedules by mixing and matching existing IGN content to engage home audiences.


Candidates should have an understanding of how ad breaks and show timings factor into programming initiatives. They should also have production experience and an understanding of how to apply graphics and host wraps to disparate content, with the goal of providing a cohesive viewing experience. This position will be expected to collaborate with Branded Content and Sales leadership to identify content monetization opportunities and collaborate across the organization to optimize traffic performance. 


This role will report to our Director of Entertainment Video.


General Responsibilities:

  • Utilize and schedule content from the IGN library to create programming for a cohesive viewing experience on O.T.T. platforms.
  • Develop content strategy that draws from IGN’s extensive output of features, reviews, news shows, and podcasts to work on O.T.T. platforms
  • Develop and implement event-based programming and promotional strategy across all O.T.T. platforms.
  • Track programming performance and present weekly analysis to steer O.T.T. strategy.
  • Partner with IGN sales team to identify and develop opportunities in the O.T.T. space.
  • Collaborate with core teams to create an on-brand O.T.T. experience.


Experience Required:

  • 3+ years of production experience with particular focus on content curation, content management, and programming.
  • Experience successfully producing, managing, and curating content on O.T.T. and/or Linear platforms.
  • A strong understanding of the video production processes and how to update existing content using production and post production techniques.
  • Understanding of the correlation between ad revenue and ad breaks and how to build that into O.T.T. programming.
  • Experience working with research teams, analyzing video trends and tracking growth.
  • Proven track record of fostering, building and maintaining relationships with key external clients.
  • Candidate must thrive in high pressure work environments with firm deadlines.
