Overview

Everyday Health, a leading provider of digital health and wellness solutions, is looking for a dynamic and passionate Product Management expert with a strong media/publishing background and demonstrated experience bringing products from concept to launch. You’ll identify and measure key metrics and build products that resonate with and broaden our audience.

You are an enthusiastic product evangelist who loves collaborating with cross-functional teams to build great products. You are first and foremost an advocate of the user. You are thoughtful and well-spoken. When you need to convince the business that your idea is the one to pursue, you understand the importance of backing it with data and creating a compelling story.

You are analytical and strategic in the way you solve problems. You can easily jump between day-to-day tactics and long-term vision building. You have a good business sense and understand how products can affect, influence and improve the business. You’ll push for what is right for the business while being passionate about the user experience.

About the Job

  • Conceive of, execute, and launch products on a regular basis.
  • Identify market opportunities and define product vision and strategy.
  • Understand customer needs and gather product requirements.
  • Generate wireframes, technical documentation, and site architectures.
  • Engage closely with the Engineering teams to help determine the best technical implementation methods as well as a reasonable implementation schedule.
  • Foster a lean product culture that results in iterative product development and fast build-measure-learn feedback cycle.
  • Collaborate across business units, including Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Editorial, and Commerce.
  • Define product success metrics and analyze user metrics, turning them into actionable insights

About You

  • Bachelor's degree and Product or Business Analyst background / experience preferred
  • 4+ years of related work experience in Product Management with a focus on media/publishing and commerce brands.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, quickly process information, and demonstrate a dedication to ensuring and maintaining the quality of the end product.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability and desire to proactively solve problems and demonstrate initiative to improve the end product for users. 
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills and a talent for collaboration. 
  • Creative problem-solver with a demonstrated ability to overcome challenges with innovative solutions.
  • Strong UX/UI background - Easily able to generate wireframes and site architecture
  • Digital Media background, including web, app, social and voice-based platforms.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Jira, CMS platforms, and Google Optimize.
  • Experience working in an Agile development process.
  • Passion for creating user-centric digital and interactive experiences
  • Up to date and knowledgeable about the latest trends, innovations and best practices in the interactive space
