Job Duties:

  • Prepare daily, monthly and quarterly executive management reports with corresponding analysis and commentary
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and monthly rolling forecasts:
    • Work on company-wide annual planning/budgeting process.  Prepare and manage expense budget and revenue forecasts based on historical and current trends to outline the risks and opportunities in the budget.
    • Work with business unit management to review budget assumptions, including a comparison of Year-over-Year budget variance explanation.
    • Assist the FP&A team in providing all analytical support for various lines of business
    • Prepare and monitor departmental expenses and provide cost-benefit analysis as needed
    • Responsible for budgetary and decision support validation
  • Partner with business teams in evaluating sales and marketing programs, performing value-added ad-hoc analyses, calculating customer acquisition costs and or lifetime values, reviewing brand strategies and special projects as required
  • Lead in developing and implementing opportunities to streamline processes and enhance business and process efficiencies.
  • Lead in developing systems and business models to reflect current and future business needs
  • Lead in developing metrics and analysis for new lines of business and revenue streams
  • Work on M&A as required

Job Requirements and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting
  • MBA or progress toward (preferred, but not required)
  • 5+ years’ experience in reporting and data analytics, including experience in budgeting and forecasting
  • Proficiency with MS Office including PowerPoint, must be an Excel expert
  • Must have experience analyzing large sets of data and the ability to proactively identify issues and make recommendations
  • Proven ability to function efficiently in an environment with multiple and shifting priorities
  • Experience working in a corporate environment supporting multiple territories is ideal
  • Knowledge of data warehouse environment and Business Objects software is preferred
  • Oracle experience is preferred
  • Previous background in internet, e-commerce and/or subscription is highly desirable
