The primary focus of this position will be to take a leadership role in the development and implementation of marketing tactics focused on lead generation, campaign management and branding activities including SEM, awareness building, website management, and reporting.  Additionally, this person will participate in the strategic planning discussions and marketing planning sessions for the Campaigner brand. 

 

Job Summary:

Reporting directly to the Director of Revenue at Campaigner®, the Marketing Manager works with Campaigner® and other j2 Global® Marketing teams to support and ensure cohesive j2 Global® branding on a variety of marketing and brand management activities.

This position is responsible for the development and execution of marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives as outlined in the annual Campaigner® business plan.  The primary focus of this position will be to take a leadership role in the development and implementation of marketing tactics focused on lead generation, campaign management and branding activities including SEM, awareness building, website management, and reporting.  Additionally, this person will participate in the strategic planning discussions and marketing planning sessions for the Campaigner brand.  This includes establishing, setting and measuring performance goals in-line with the business objectives as set forth in the annual Campaigner® business plan.  

The ideal candidate will thrive in a high-energy environment and excel in coordinating multi-variable projects and will have hands-on experience with all aspects of campaign management and lead generation tactics including forecasting goals, establishing timelines, setting expectations and tracking performance for all activities.  As the position will work very closely with multiple levels of management and key business stakeholders, this position requires a passionate, collaborative, innovative, strategic and smart individual with the ability to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment and get the job done. 

 

Job Duties:

  • Responsible for the creation and implementation of an annual Campaigner® marketing plan and budgets in support of the annual Campaigner® business plan and objectives.
  • Serve as overall project manager and liaison for Campaigner® lead generation tactics including, but not limited to;
  • SEO
  • PPC / search
  • Email Marketing campaigns
  • Webinars
  • Direct mail, direct touch campaigns
  • Media buying with print and online sources
  • Campaign Analytics
  • Social Media
  • Awareness (online, print, media, etc)
  • Sales tools (data sheets, white papers, presentations, etc)
  • Performance reporting, analytics, measurement and metrics
  • Develop and manage relationships with marketing agencies and third party marketing vendors.
  • Maintenance, forecasting and tracking of monthly budgets.
  • Responsible for establishing analytics / dashboards and distributing this information via regular reporting to all key stakeholders on a monthly or as needed basis.
  • Developing and maintaining a demand generation marketing calendar.
  • Ability to work cross-departmentally to gather assets, business requirements, marketing goals and objectives, etc.
  • Manage and coordinate marketing, advertising, media buying and promotional activities as directed

Job Requirements and Experience:

  • 5+ years of campaign management experience in Integrated Marketing or Internet business in a fast paced and aggressive environment.
  • 5+ years of B2B marketing experience as well working in ecommerce settings.
  • 3 + years’ experience managing/coordinating all aspects of a project lifecycle for multiple projects simultaneously with individual production schedules.
  • Experience in launching and maintaining an active website
  • Demonstrated ability to show lead growth, and pipeline development for enterprise markets.
  • Must be well versed in current advertising and SEM trends, best practices, reporting, and maintain knowledge base of future trending.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate and present effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Proficient to expert experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Economics, Interactive Media or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in providing financial analysis and presenting information.  
  • Experience in Channel Marketing a plus
