As our Product Marketing Specialist – Mobile Apps, you’ll contribute to one of our most important company initiatives.

You will collaborate with Marketing, Product, Engineering and Customer Service teams to identify and act on opportunities to innovate and produce world-class products and features and optimize the mobile user experience. You will be responsible for content development, app store optimization, market research, persona refinements and will be instrumental in collaborating to resolve technical and usability issues. In our exciting environment, you will help brainstorm ideas and contribute to their implementation. You will often be responsible for projects that require collaboration with engineering and will write requirements and partner with development leads to implement, test, and confirm things are delivered to your specifications.

We are looking for a flexible and passionate team player familiar with mobile iOS and Android apps as well as experience employing tools and methods to measure performance. The candidate must also be flexible, independent and quick to learn. The position reports to the Senior Product Marketing Manager and is a key role on a dynamic and experienced marketing team.


Job Duties:

 

  • Work with cross-functional teams on new mobile app strategies to increase signup revenue
  • Responsible for the development of app content and maintaining ongoing acquisition A/B test plans
  • Work closely with Ad team to identify new campaign opportunities and requirements
  • Responsible for weekly reporting of mobile app signups, usage and trends.
  • Research competitor apps, product features and pricing and marketing content and provide recommendations and execute new marketing initiatives based on findings
  • Maintain current standards for App Store Optimization (ASO) and identify keywords and other opportunities to improve app rankings
  • Maintain marketing calendar of all app releases, test plans and content
  • Participate in various initiatives to increase revenue and improve customer acquisition and retention
  • Explore, develop, and document product requirements and share and communicate requirements with cross-functional teammates.
  • Verify, validate, and test product releases.
  • Administer App Store updates and enhancements.
  • Analyze performance and results and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Investigate glitches and issues and manage their resolution.

Job Requirements and Experience:

 

 

  • 1+ years related experience in a business environment.
  • User knowledge of Android and iOS operating systems.
  • Experience administering and managing App Store content.
  • Basic knowledge of engineering procedures.
  • Experience gathering and defining mobile product requirements.
  • Experience in an Agile development environment is a big plus.
  • Organized, well-spoken, well-written and ready to challenge and be challenged.
  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
  • Experience working with tools to measure performance and test options within mobile apps;
  • Detail-oriented with ability to deliver data-driven results, analysis, testing and application of findings;
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other MS Office software
