Job Summary: 

The Director of Talent Acquisition, Worldwide, is accountable to drive all aspects of the global talent acquisition strategy and delivery including global employer branding, global expansion, as well as, provide oversight to the day to day operations of domestic and international recruiting teams. Must have a proven track record leading a successful global talent acquisition organization.

In addition, this position will provide guidance and recommendations in organizational development and effectiveness, employee development and relations, supports and ensures execution of HR policies and procedures and HR initiatives that support the growth of the business for company’s domestic and international operations. This position will serve as the lead for executive and high level management talent acquisition in both domestic and international geographies, including EMEA and APAC. 

Job Duties: 

  • Directs all aspects of the recruitment process globally by ensuring the adherence to and communications with the appropriate HR functions, plans, programs (e.g., benefits), information systems, and products (e.g., policies).
  • Will be a member of the HR Leadership Team and will participate in Executive Meetings periodically to provide an integrated global perspective on talent/trends as well as a clear go to internal/external market strategy etc.
  • Responsible for recruiting at the executive and senior management level positions.
  • Manages and communicates guidance within the organization regarding compliance with company policies on equal employment opportunities, disability accommodation, career management, compensation, benefits, and HR best practices.
  • Manages compliance and processes in regard to all work permits or immigration requirements such as Visa, work permits, etc.
  • Partners with executive and sr. management within the company to assess work processes and develop accountability oriented job descriptions; manages the training/development programs and career management plans to build organizational “bench strength.”
  • Focused on cutting edge talent acquisition & attraction strategies, processes and tools which will enable workforce planning goals which complement business growth while also managing cost-effective measures by using technology to minimize corporate bureaucracy and administration (e.g., integrated Human Resource Information Systems).
  • Research & analyze global strategic work force planning initiatives focusing on opportunities to build upon a diverse candidate talent pool/pipeline.
  • Increases organizational effectiveness by analyzing employee development needs and delivering meaningful employee training and development that engages employees in doing their jobs better.
  • Provide leadership and clear direction for the global recruiting team which includes multiple functional areas ensuring appropriate recruitment processes are being adhered to in a consistent manner
  • Ensures that cost-effective measures are in place for facilities management and office administrative needs.

Job Requirements and Experience: 

  • 10+ years of experience in full lifecycle Human Resource responsibilities in a business oriented culture
  • Good working and business practical knowledge of employment law in USA, Ireland, United Kingdom, other European countries as well as Australia and Japan.
  • 8+ years of managing HR operations working for a US based SaaS/technology Company with multiple international offices and understands how to successfully design and deploy global programs at the local level.
  • Experience working for a US based, publically traded, Multi-national Company.
  • Strong vendor management skills and experience working with outsourced vendors.
  • Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate at all levels within an organization in a professional, articulate manner with experience working with multiple levels within an organization. This is particularly important as the role reports into VP, HR, in Los Angeles, CA
  • Proven ability to multi-task, problem solve, and prioritize in a fast past environment. Must be self-motivated and able to work well independently.
  • Ability to travel and accommodate work hours for multiple time zones, within Europe.
  • Strong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skills.
  • Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of MS Office, Outlook, Excel, ADP HRIS.
