Description

The Account Manager for Excel Micro will have a unique opportunity to join a growing team responsible for scaling our already successful online backup service in the U.S. Your primary focus will be maintaining and building our strong direct customer and channel partner presence. Responsibilities include managing the existing customer base & up selling to the existing customer base.

Job Duties

  • Technical sales to existing customers & channel partners
  • Support the sales process, working independently with Finance, Legal and Management.
  • Responsibility for account renewals and managing the customer retention program.
  • Ensure that all processes and procedures are completed during the customer on-boarding process
  • Maintain regular contact with existing customer base and ensure that customer issues are dealt with in an efficient manner.
  • Owns the contract and contract renewals for new and existing customers.
  • Aware and in pursuit of opportunities for account growth and new business
  • Provide regular two-way communication between customers and Excel Micro support and operations team. Relay customer feedback to team in order to improve our processes.

Job Requirements And Experience

  • 3 – 5 years in a technical sales role. Experience supervising and managing projects, people and partners. Highly organized and efficient, with a proven ability to think strategically and execute plans
  • Excellent people skills with the ability to form strong relationships with partners
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Very computer literate with Microsoft Office, email and internet skills
  • Proven ability to act on own initiative
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work under pressure
  • Strong technical sales experience and proven track record in selling and supporting outsourced solutions and services
