Wynn’s Belgium is part of Additives International, an ITW Division that manufactures and supplies specialty
and innovative chemicals for the automotive aftermarket. Wynn's offers additives to restore, protect and
enhance the three essential fluid systems in your car: fuel, oil and coolant. We manufacture products in
Sint-Niklaas, Belgium and commercialize around the globe serving markets in Europe, Russia, Middle East,
We are currently seeking a SHEQ Coordinator who will act as business partner and first point of contact for
all Health, Safety and Quality matters. The role will be based in our facility in Sint-Niklaas, Belgium.
The SHEQ Coordinator observes all SHEQ related activities and policies within the Belgian plant. He/she
performs reporting, risk assessments and auditing and ensures that operations are conducted in an
incident and injury free culture and in conformance to law and company safety regulations by integrating
and implementing company and third-party SHEQ policies and procedures.
➢ Managing, monitoring, and controlling the Quality system and certification;
➢ Perform internal audits and first point of contact for external audits;
➢ Ensure optimal SHEQ performance by setting & monitoring KPI’s, gathering relevant data and
producing reports for the management review;
➢ Act as Prevention Advisor and Environment Coordinator;
➢ Inspect and evaluate workplace environments, equipment, and practices, in order to ensure
compliance with SHE standards and legislation/government regulations;
➢ Carrying out risk assessments;
➢ Create a ‘safety first’ culture and awareness and help to protect employees from potentially
hazardous work methods, processes, or materials.
➢ Development of safety plans (e.g prevention plan, emergency plan; etc.) and define/undertake
actions to execute the plans;
➢ Coordinate quarterly meeting with First Aid and First Intervention team and follow up that the
necessary trainings are followed;
➢ Manage, review and update SHE documentation, e.g. registers, procedures, instructions, forms;
➢ Submit SHE declarations and reports in line with requirements, both internally and externally;
➢ Follow the necessary training in order to remain up-to-date about all relevant HSE matters;
➢ Conduct SHEQ training and education programs, and demonstrate the use of safety equipment;
➢ Provide new-employee SHEQ orientations, and develop materials for these presentations;
➢ Follow up on safety, ADR, environment, … legislation and ensure adherence to it.
➢ Manage emergency procedures
➢ Analyze, report and act in the event of an accident, a non-conformity or a customer claim
➢ Qualifications: official qualifications in Chemistry or SHEQ related field (Safety/environment
engineer, civil engineering, others) is required.
➢ Certification Prevention Advisor 2 is required + additional HSE certificates (First Aid, First

➢ Experience: 5 years of experience in SHEQ role
➢ You are familiar with the international ISO standard norms ISO 9001, ISO14001
➢ Fluency in Dutch and English.
