Responsibilities:

The 80:

-          Manage Month-end Process: Review and validate journal entries, Prepare financial statements and account reconciliations.

-          Review sales/cost data for market/trend analysis and update monthly sales plans with sales directors.

-          Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year end close.

-          Coordinate and direct financial planning, budgeting and reporting.

-          Lead and develop talent to maximize individual, team and organizational effectiveness in meeting company goals.

-          Ensure compliance to ITW policies.

The 20:

-          Provide Operational analysis to facilitate accurate decisions and strategies to support the division’s Full Potential goals.

-          Review accuracy and update of Standard Costs as needed.

-          Support team member functions as per requirements.

 

Key Deliverables to Demonstrate Success in 12 mos:

-          Effectively communicate and coordinate the exchange of financial information to key stakeholders with in-depth knowledge of highlights and variances.

-          Understand and apply ITW financial policies consistently and effectively.  Ensures that accurate financial records and strong internal controls are in place and being followed.

 

Skills and Experience Needed

-          Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or related advanced degree preferred.

-          At least 5yrs experience in Accounting or Finance required.

-          Manufacturing experience strongly preferred.

-          Demonstrates strong analytical and business communication skills.

-          Proficiency in Excel.

-          Possess excellent follow up skills and attention to detail.
