ITCON Services is seeking to hire a motivated and knowledgeable SharePoint Developer/Administrator to join our team. The SharePoint Developer/Administrator will be required to help install, maintain, and troubleshoot SharePoint farms. Prior experience with installation and configuration of SharePoint farms is required. Development and administration tasks will include supporting other SharePoint Developers with all aspects of custom and out of the box SharePoint development along with supporting routine O&M activities such as installing updates, creating PowerShell Scripts, reconfiguring the system per client requirements, resolving security vulnerabilities, and SharePoint upgrades and migrations. The candidate will assist with requirements analysis and customer deliverables and will be expected to work independently, take task ownership, and contribute in team settings.

This opening is for a full-time salaried position located in the ITCON Services headquarters in Southwest DC, steps away from L’Enfant Plaza metro station. The candidate will be dividing time between the client site and the ITCON office. Applicant must be a permanent resident or citizen of the United States.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, candidates with Engineering, Computer Science, MIS or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of experience with SharePoint development
  • 3+ years of experience with SharePoint administration
  • Experience in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting SharePoint farms
  • Experience working with SharePoint 2016 or SharePoint 2019
  • Strong skills in developing scripts using PowerShell for maintenance tasks
  • Strong skills in developing and maintaining SQL database and writing SQL queries necessary for maintenance tasks
  • Experience with custom solutions and programming languages such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, CSOM & Rest API's, Visual Studio, jQuery, .Net, C#
  • Experience creating and/or implementing graphical design for custom SharePoint site branding
  • Some experience in working with different SharePoint Authentication Mechanisms (claim based, AD, form based etc.) and the ability to implement them
  • Some experience with various SharePoint configuration management tools and methodologies
  • Some experience with SharePoint migration tools (Metalogix, AvePoint, ShareGate)
  • Experience building Nintex workflows
  • Ability to gather requirements from multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to define and analyze business requirements and scope

Desired Skills and Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS or related field
  • Latest Microsoft SharePoint 2013, 2016, or Microsoft 365 Teamwork Certification
  • Experience with the following tools: AvePoint DocAve Reporting Tool, Discover Tool, SPDocKit, and SSRS
  • Knowledge of the SharePoint App Model/Add-In Model and SharePoint Framework (SPFx)
  • Experience working with Microsoft Azure
  • Experience working with SharePoint Online
