Insightly is looking for an enthusiastic Sales Manager who will be responsible for leading a team of Account Executives to exceed sales quota and company goals. World class coaching skills are a must to continually develop and advance the acumen of our Account Executives. The role requires strong leadership skills with a proven ability to deliver results using value based selling methodologies. 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of Account Executives to achieve individual and team quota
  • Coach reps in developing their territories by working the buying committees of target accounts to generate predictable bookings
  • Hands on role assisting Account Executives in navigating and negotiating complex transactions through the development of executive-level relationships with key prospects
  • Manage daily and weekly activities, pipelines, forecasts and closed deals to ensure above-quota results based on successful pipeline management
  • Work with Sales Enablement on data driven ongoing AE performance improvement
  • Coordinate and manage weekly and monthly one-on-one and team-wide pipeline reviews, meetings and training sessions to ensure ongoing improvement and best practice sharing
  • Enable and reinforce prescribed sales methodology through 1:1 and team sessions
  • Work closely across departments including Customer Success, Marketing, Product and Engineering
  • Provide critical customer feedback to the Product team to influence roadmap
  • Attract, hire, coach, and develop top sales talent
  • Execute on Insightly’s multi-product go-to-market strategy 
  • Active participation and engagement in a team environment including but not limited to mentoring, leading team discussions and initiatives as well as team-building exercises. 

Desired Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • 3-5 years of on-quota, B2B sales experience in a highly competitive market with strong preference for on-demand/SaaS experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience managing quota carrying sales teams
  • Experience with value based selling or equivalent sales methodologies
  • Proven track record of managing a fully remote distributed team
  • Hands on experience selling CRM/ SFA or SaaS solutions a plus
  • Proven track record of meeting team sales goals in a high growth environment
  • Successful history of closing new business, cross-selling and upselling, and over-achieving quota
  • Demonstrated ability to accurately forecast sales results
  • Strong skill set in contract negotiations
  • Ability to work in a rapidly expanding, fast paced environment
  • Teamwork and good communication skills a must
  • Four year university/college degree required

​​The salary range for this role in Colorado is $90,000 to $100,000 and final offers are determined using multiple factors including experience and level of expertise. For all other locations, the salary range may vary by geographic market and will be determined through the selection and assessment process for this role relative to your experience and our job qualifications. This position is also eligible for an annual performance based variable compensation of $100,000. Insightly complies with applicable law regarding pay transparency.
