Branded Merchandise Specialist

The Branded Merchandise Specialist will support the Branded Merchandise Strategist in executing and developing merchandise strategies for INWK clients. They will specialize in promotional products and branded merchandise and be responsible for the development of innovative and client-facing product presentations.


  • Analyze client’s brands to provide insights and strategic recommendations for optimizing merchandising initiatives
  • Assist with developing promotional calendar and develop creative solutions for clients’ merchandise needs
  • Understand and stay on top of current trends impacting branded merchandise and promotional products
  • Create vendor relationships, researching new and innovative vendors and making recommendations to client account teams based on knowledge of client’s brand and marketing collateral needs
  • Negotiate prices with vendors to maximize profits and monitor competitive products and marketing activities
  • Work as a team with sales, creative services, account teams, and vendors
  • Collaborate with Account teams to ensure the Merchandise team is producing high quality service and products for INWK clients


  • 3+ years’ experience in promotional product sourcing
  • Experience in the ASI supply chain, sourcing, quoting, purchasing, and branding with a strong interest in retail trends
  • Strong presentation, customer service, account management, vendor relations, and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of fulfillment and logistics, warehousing, international sourcing/product development and creative design a plus
  • Strong product merchandising knowledge, online product marketing experience a plus
  • Prior experience buying and/or merchandising for large brands a plus
  • Detail oriented, highly organized, creative, and a strategic thinker
  • Ability to multi-task many projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and professionally with both clients and vendors written and verbally
