INVENTORY CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSOCIATE

The Customer Service Associate will be responsible for assigned aspects of customer service and supporting fast paced processes. Will respond to customer inquiries and problems, including navigating internal resources and troubleshooting.  This person will field phone calls and emails tickets from our internal teams and clients to provide superior customer service.  

Responsibilities

  • Resolve problems by clarifying the customer's needs, determining the cause of the difficulty, selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem, expediting correction or adjustment, and following up to ensure resolution
  • Supporting large buys and high-level processes
  • Navigating multiple complex systems
  • Respond to customer inquiries through various methods of contact, including phone, chat, web form, and email
  • Log all customer inquiries in Service Desk Support platform
  • Process orders, forms, applications, and requests
  • Assist with refunds, exchanges, or cancellations
  • Track customer orders and update the customer, as needed, on the status of their requests
  • Set up new customer accounts
  • Communicate and coordinate with internal departments
  • Handle complaints and provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in customer service role
  • Inventory experience required
  • Warehouse experience preferred
  • High School Degree required
  • Strong phone skills and active listening
  • Fast learning abilities
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Customer orientated and the ability to adapt and respond to different types of customers
  • Knowledge of relevant software computer applications and equipment
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Problem analysis and problem solving
  • Proven ability to be flexible and learn quickly in a dynamic environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Entrepreneurial minded with an internal drive to continuously hit goals and succeed
  • Experience excelling within fast paced, high energy environments
