Creative Traffic coordinator

The Traffic Coordinator will work with senior leadership, client and agency marketing teams, procurement partners, and internal resources. This role will coordinate project artwork, specifications, timelines, and approval processes. This individual will need to have excellent communication skills, prompt responsiveness, strong attention to detail, and a solid understanding of POS and print publication. Responsibilities

          Act as centralized project coordination contact between the Account Executive and studio teams

  • Act as centralized project coordination contact between the Account Executive and studio teams
  • Work collaboratively to coordinate meetings to review incoming project artwork, production specifications, and deadlines
  • Participate in status/conference calls
  • Review initial agency artwork and job submission form(s) for project accuracy
  • Collect and review POS, publication and/or out-of-home production specifications
  • Coordinate project timelines and schedules for incoming projects
  • Hold internal studio team meetings to review project status and incoming workload
  • Monitor internal task assignments within web-based workflow system
  • Communicate any necessary updates or inquiries with project partners and internal studio team members
  • Review soft proof for element accuracy and layout construction
  • Effectively communicate and respond to day-to-day agency partner/departmental questions
  • Coordinate artwork file releases to agency and production or procurement partners
  • Create internal job tickets for scheduling studio production
  • Review daily department workload using Workfront scheduling tool
  • Utilize web-based soft proof workflow system for tracking all item/project approvals and changes related to a project
  • Demonstrate solid knowledge base in the development and production of various advertising materials
  • Demonstrate working knowledge in the customer’s business, including account organization and brand guidelines

Requirements

  • College degree preferred, 2+ years of graphic arts education or experience preferred
  • Previous work experience as project coordinator in print related field preferred
  • High competency with interpersonal communication
  • Must be able to remain calm under pressure and thrive in fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills, with ability to react quickly to changing priorities
  • Work in a quick, responsive manner with clarity and accuracy
  • Knowledge of using a MAC and Microsoft Office
  • Working knowledge of:
    • FTP sites & other electronic file transfer options
    • Project Management Workflow Software
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suites Applications (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to effectively organize work, plan and meet project milestones
  • Cooperative and responsive to change and constructive feedback, new ideas, and company initiatives
  • Able to make reliable judgments when handling work problems, and to use common sense, logic and critical thinking
  • Able to generate new ideas, take corrective action, or make improvements
  • Able to work well with others to meet departmental goals
