We are looking for a Senior Salesforce Engineer to join our IT Applications team in Bangalore, India, reporting to the senior manager of IT, located in Santa Clara, CA. In this role, you will work closely with IT product managers and delivery managers to design, develop, and deliver the cloud-based solutions on our CRM (Salesforce) platform and related integrations of various cross functional systems. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a growing, successful, and innovative organization. What you’ll do:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy end-to-end Salesforce applications, Marketing functions such as Marketo, Bizible, Monday.com etc., and related integrations
  • Develop and customize using Apex, Visualforce, Aura, LWC frameworks, API’s, etc.
  • Stay up-to-date with VSC, Github, CICD, processes, and Agile methodologies
  • Collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams with a solution and implementation focus
  • Follow Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and other iterative style of development practices
  • Write technical specifications documents, including architecture diagrams, data model diagrams, process flows, and sequence diagrams
  • Perform hands-on work in Apex, LWC, Aura framework, Webservices, and other integration patterns
  • Work closely with the Sustaining team and proactively plan for the KT processes
  • Participate on the team as an agile, proactive member

What you’ll bring:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with the Salesforce platform in development, maintenance, and administration
  • Experience in working with Salesforce communities, Apex, LWC, SOQL, Visual Force, APIs, workflows, process builders, security settings, flows, data loader, reports, and dashboards
  • Minimum two years of experience in creating FSD’s and TDD’s and documenting them in user stories in systems like VersionOne or Jira
  • Experience in Marketing, Sales/Channel, and Order Management processes
  • Experience in Lead, Account, Opportunity Management, and CPQ processes
  • Experience developing Salesforce APIs and supporting various external application integrations based on oAuth, SSO, SOAP/REST, etc.
  • A good understanding of synchronous/asynchronous methods, streaming API’s and publish/subscribe design patterns are required
  • Experience with deployment using change-set/VSC/CICD migration tools such as Opsera, Copado, AutoRabbit etc.
  • Marketo or marketing app experience is a plus
  • Salesforce CPQ, Admin and Developer certificates are a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in business, management information systems, computer information systems or equivalent IT experience

After six months, you will...

  • Understand our project delivery framework, agile toolset VersionOne, and application/business flow
  • Understand our current implementation, extensions, and customizations
  • Participate in and deliver solutions for new business requirements 

After about a year, you will…

  • Influence technical designs and implement best practices
  • Participate in business requirement discussions and present solutions
  • Deliver multiple projects in parallel, working with cross-functional teams
