The ideal candidate must have at least "3” years of active and recent experience with Kafka experience in developing enterprise application in agile model. Must be comfortable as a consultant and have strong written and verbal communication skills.

Technical Competencies

  • Strong understanding of designing high performance, fault-tolerant distributed software solutions.
  • Strong development experience 5+ years in either Java/J2EE/Spring/Spring Boot, .NET with exposure towards Web services and APIs as in RESTful and SOAP.
  • 2+ year developing of distributed systems and message-oriented architectures.
  • Experience in working in with Kafka connectors, Producer and consumer APIs
  • Good understanding of Streaming message delivery semantics.
  • Strong skills in In-memory applications, Database Design, Data Integration
  • Ability to prioritize and execute on multiple concurrent initiatives with related or independent goals
  • Candidates should have broad experience and understanding of data architecture principles, data integration patterns and data quality management
  • Strong written and oral communication and presentation

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Development and support of Kafka integrations, including topics, producers, consumers and streaming applications
  • Practical experience with how to scale Kafka, KStreams, and Connector infrastructures, with the motivation to build efficient platforms
  • Operational management of the Kafka platform
  • Development of Data Streaming Standards and Patterns
  • Strong hands on expertise in debugging and fixing streaming jobs by looking debug logs and configuration tuning.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute on multiple concurrent initiatives with related or independent goals
  • Work on Big Data Integration &Analytics based on Hadoop, SOLR, Spark, Kafka, Storm and web Methods.
  • Have knowledge on Kibana and Elastic search to identify the Kafka message failure scenarios
  • Ability to articulate design standards and patterns
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Prior financial services or banking experience

Education Qualification:

  • B.S. in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or related area of study
