Software Development Intern

Location: Cochabamba, Bolivia

The Channels Engineer Intern will work on channels that support the inContact platform, including Email, SMS, Chat, and Social Media. The internship will require some knowledge of software development and ability to code, as well as a strong desire to learn. The intern will be part of one of two Platform Channels teams and will report their daily progress to the team.  ​

As an Channels Engineer Intern, a Typical Day Might Include the Following:

  • ​Help develop software solutions under the guidance of team members
  • Fix bugs, build automated tests, and deploy code to production level software solutions
  • Reporting daily to the team on the progress of the project
  • At the end of the internship, create a presentation of the project

To Land This Gig You'll Need:

  • ​College experience in Computer Science or related major course of study
  • Some experience with coding languages including C#, Java, JavaScript, NodeJS, Python, or Ruby
  •  A strong desire to learn cutting-edge public cloud technologies

Bonus Experience:

  • ​AWS Lambda experience preferred
  • .NET experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • Ability to work in a team
