Sr. Principal Software Engineer Test

Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Primary Purpose

The Sr. Principal Software Engineer in Test is the expert in performance testing of microservices in AWS.  

Financial Responsibility

  • Understands the costs of AWS


Major Functions

  • Performance Scalability and Reliability
  • AWS microservice expert

Education Requirement

BS in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience

Experience Requirement

  • Exceptional experience in one or more of the following software languages: SQL, C#, C++, Java, Javascript, Scala, Python
  • Exceptional experience in performance testing tools: Gatling, Playwright
  • 15+ years of experience (or equivalent) in software development and automation
  • Experience testing web & API services
  • Possess strong organizational and time management skills
  • Possess strong communication & decision making skills
  • Ability to lead others and drive to consensus
  • DevOps experience
  • CI/CD experience

Experience Preferred

  • Cloud experience, AWS preferred
  • Experience microservice enterprise performance testing
  • Experience with enterprise chaos testing
