We are seeking a Manager, Solutions Engineering - Central Europe (M/W/D) to join our team. This is a Remote opportunity based out of Germany.
Job Summary
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide leadership to a geographically diverse team of Solutions Engineers (SE) within the assigned region(s) and/or product verticals.
- Manage resource availability and workload to meet ongoing requests from sales teams and channel partners by appropriately allocating resources to assignments.
- Manage staff performance and productivity.
- Ensure product and solution expertise across the technical teams.
- Enlist and retain top talent; motivate, mentor and coach team members.
- Drive continuous process improvement within the Solutions Engineering organisation.
- Conduct group meetings to ensure that Sales and the Solutions Engineering organisations’ strategies, goals, and decisions are clearly understood and communicated.
- Provide updates to leadership regarding the technical and services aspects of ongoing sales opportunities, as well as any proof-of-concept (PoC) evaluations underway.
- Facilitate training for the wider Solutions Engineering organisation, as directed by leadership.
- Other duties as assigned and required.
- Travel up to 25% in the assigned territory.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years relevant Solutions Engineering, consulting or system integration experience with one or more vendors or Value-Added Resellers (VARs) in the healthcare IT or cybersecurity industries.
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in engineering or in a related technical discipline is desired.
- Previous experience managing and leading technical field teams is desired.
- Previous experience hiring, onboarding, coaching and developing presales technical resources is desired.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with the entire sales team, provide technical leadership, and evangelise technology.
- Excellent presentation skills and verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience selling to healthcare providers is strongly desired.
- Experience selling multiple products and supporting multiple sales representatives is desired.
- Experience discussing, scoping and estimating professional and managed services is desired.
- The ability to effectively engage with audiences via web conferencing facilities such as Zoom, Teams, and Webex is essential.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment is essential.
Expertise in a broad range of applications and technologies including, but not limited to:
- Microsoft Windows, Apple MacOS and Linux-based thin client operating systems.
- Directory services and protocols such as Active Directory, Azure/Entra ID, LDAP, HTTP, SAML and ODIC.
- Application/software virtualization technologies such as Microsoft Remote Desktop Services, VMware Workstation and Horizon View, Azure Virtual Desktops.
- Identity management, multi-factor authentication (MFA) and single sign-on (SSO) technologies.
- Enterprise and SaaS-based software security technologies.
- Knowledge of computing resources via cloud environments like Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
- Mobile Device Management solutions (MDM).
- Patient Privacy Monitoring and Drug Diversion solutions.
- Data acquisition and analytics.
- Privileged Access Solutions (PAM)
