We’re looking for a Senior Java Backend Engineer to join and drive the execution of Imperva’s Anywhere strategy delivering Cloud Native Security.
This position is part of Imperva's mission to build the foundations for all current and future Imperva Anywhere products.

Requirements:
  • At least 8 years of hands-on experience as a Backend Engineer in a global organization as a Java developer
  • Proven experience with Spring or other similar frameworks.
  • Proven experience developing large-scale complex features, design patterns, and distributed software architecture.
  • Experienced in developing robust and resilient Software as a Service (SaaS) applications capable of withstanding high scale and maintaining high availability.
  • Proven innovative skills/projects
  • B.Sc/M.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent from a known university        
  • Experience with containerized environments (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, helm)   
  • Highly self-motivated-person-, fast learner, and independent.
  • ״Can do” attitude with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to enhance your skills and contribute to the team's success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proficiency in a variety of programming languages: Golang, Bash, Python  
  • Solid understanding of Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) - an advantage     
  • Knowledge of the cyber security field
  • Experience with APM Tools (Datadog, New Relic)
  • Familiar with VPC application deployments and management
  • Familiar with security best practices (on-prem deployments, communication in hybrid environments)
