Our award-winning app codeSpark Academy with the Foos has a patent pending word-free interface that allows kids as young as four to become makers. We have a strong focus on making codeSpark Academy exciting for both girls and boys.

We believe all kids should have the opportunity to master this new form of literacy and creative expression. Our self-directed subscription service thoughtfully combines structured challenges and open-ended creative play. Lessons are personalized for users daily based on proprietary algorithms. Parents pay for home use while the service is free for schools and libraries.

As Acquisition Marketing Manager, you’ll play a critical role at codeSpark. You will oversee our Paid Marketing initiatives as well as support Offline and Brand marketing development, content development, and Social Marketing initiatives, driving growth of company KPIs while helping kids learn to code, worldwide!

What you'll do:

  • Oversee Paid Marketing at codeSpark, driving growth to exceed set goals.
  • Manage in-house Acquisition digital campaigns: primarily Search, Paid Social, Affiliates, and Display
  • Provide strategy/direction to scale the business via Online and Offline channels
  • Assist in creating the infrastructure for scaling the team: report-building, helping to define agency relationships, set goals, etc.
  • Oversee the concepting and execution of Acquisition paid and owned social creative, utilizing both in-house and external resources
  • Oversee Acquisition agency relationships for outsourced campaigns
  • Report regularly on Acquisition performance to key stakeholders
  • Inform site testing in order to increase conversion rates
  • Work with Growth team to execute growth initiatives (SEO, email, push notifications, retargeting, content marketing, etc.)
  • Support offline testing (Audio, TV, etc.)
  • Be a strong individual contributor and an enthusiastic member of a rapidly growing team


  • 2+ years of mobile app marketing experience
  • 4+ years of digital marketing experience (Facebook marketing and Google Adwords campaign management experience required)
  • Deep understanding of customer path to purchase, and direct marketing KPIs, such as CPA and LTV.
  • Strong excel skills
  • Experience with Google Analytics and Mixpanel (or comparable platform)
  • Strong cross functional leadership experience and written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with Mobile 3rd party tracking platforms (like Appsflyer) a plus
  • Startup experience a plus
  • BA/BS required.
  • Teaching or coaching experience for kids 5-9
  • A deep love of play and silliness!
