Based in Portland, Oregon, the Associate Technical Designer (Maternity Cover) is a key part of the Product Development team. Our current team member will be off for 3 months so we are looking for someone like you to fill these shoes for approximately 15 weeks. You will work with the Technical Design Manager applying technical knowledge related to product fit, patterns, and construction to provide tools and guidance to successfully execute the seasonal product line goals. This is a great opportunity  to take on a short term contract to cover a maternity leave and experience a new team and fascinating new materials.

What your Resume says:

  • 3+ years of deep experience in patternmaking and fit
  • Experience in cut-and-sew knits, activewear, outerwear across mens` / womens`categories
  • A trained eye for proportion and balance as well as aesthetic detail
  • Knowledge of garment construction, grading and manufacturing process
  • Proficiency with Optitex
  • Experience with a web-based PLM system
