Regional Inventory Analyst - NZAU

As Regional Inventory Analyst, you will be working with the region’s Inventory, Sales and Marketing teams, providing detailed analysis and making recommendations to improve the overall inventory performance for the region. Under the direction of the Regional Inventory Manager (RIM), you will responsible for creating reporting and making recommendations to support future season planning, managing inventory performance in the current season and participating in post season reviews. The role will control the in-season demand plan, adjusting it as required, to ensure an accurate projection of sell-through performance, driving the achievement of the sales budget and closing stock levels and complete action items as required as part of the Regional Inventory Team. This role based in Auckland, New Zealand reports to the Regional Inventory Manager.  Sounds great and it really is.

Tricks up your sleeve:

  • Equivalent of 5+ years of experience in forecasting, inventory management, or reporting and analysis preferably in the retail apparel industry
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills - Intermediate MS Word & PowerPoint
  • Exposure to mid-tier ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics AX
  • High level of commercial acumen and sound judgement
  • Excellent organisation and planning ability
  • Great time-management and prioritizing skills and experience delivering to strict deadlines

  • Provide strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Use qualitative and quantitative judgement and decision making
  • Build strong relationships through your awesome communication and time management skills
  • Continuously improve processes and practices and implementing process improvements
  • Understand retail levers & tactics
