Accounts Administrator – Global Finance and Business Intelligence

Are you that special someone we need to be the glue, the nails, the master of administration in the finance team… and pop out the end of the day smiling with a cracking good story?  You will definitely need to be a multi-tasker extraordinaire to make stuff happen every single day. 

We are looking for an Accounts Administrator to work in the Global Finance and BI team, the role is located in our very cool Ponsonby Office, Auckland, New Zealand & reports to the Head of Global Finance. You will be responsible for contributing to Icebreaker’s financial sustainability by providing finance administration support to the global and regional finance teams.  This includes; general finance administration, supporting Accounts Payable and Payroll, and assisting with the delivery of month end reporting to drive effective decision making.

This is a part time role (15- 20 hours), we are incredibly flexible on how & which hours you want to work, we are open to suggestions. We want it to work for both of us. Come to us with ideas, gee it sounds ideal.

 Stuff you’ll have up your sleeve:

  • Equivalent of 5+ years’ experience in a similar administrative role, ideally within a finance environment
  • Navigate all manner of office & accounting systems, particularly Microsoft Office
  • Experience in Accounts payable, ideally within an international business
  • Payroll experience ideally
  • Great attention to detail and a love of working within a great team environment

  So what will you be doing:

  • Provide general financial administrative support as directed
  • Support the processing of Accounts Payables
  • Support employee expense claims process
  • Supporting HR and payroll
  • Supporting the accounting and month-end processing
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with Icebreaker suppliers and other regional finance teams
  • Everything and anything as you’ll muck in and help out where needed
