And your feet, arms, nose - whatever takes your fancy. We need someone who can get amongst it and get dirty.  You’ll dig deep to know what’s in the pipeline, what got spat out of the pipeline, what is flying around the pipeline and what missed the pipeline altogether!   

This newly created role will be a key part of the Global Finance & BI teams, as Business Analyst for Direct to Consumer channels (D2C) you will take responsibility for analysing and reporting on business intelligence data to make the global channels to run with speed.  We are looking for a savvy Business Analyst who can work on significant projects that support our Global eCom team & regional teams – Europe, North America, NZAU. You will need to be responsible for analysis, focused on both financial & operational. A big ask but we need someone who gets and understands numbers, data and what it all means from a commercial point of view

Who you are:

  • A really pragmatic, rationale yet intuitive brain trigger
  • 3 years plus of relevant experience delivering data/financial focused services and sales reporting and analysis in the retail/SKU industry
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to deal with multiple and sometimes conflicting personal agendas
  • Proven analytical skills to undertake strategic and business planning, including what-if and scenario analysis
  • Thorough understanding of financial and economic valuation and modelling concepts
  • Ability to interpret and link economic analysis to accounting based reporting

Things you know how to do:

  • Build, develop, and maintain tools to enable performance monitoring and business intelligence gathering, and to synthesize the diverse sell-thru and performance measurements we receive (that sounded long and boring but actually is very cool stuff as you’ll know)
  • Partner with your teammates to assist in strategic planning, annual planning and budgeting, quarterly re-forecasting (all those key plans and dates and gates)
  • Produce damn good business reports (think the normal cadence – monthly, quarterly, annually… for all manner of reasons)
  • Make others cry at how well you have mastered Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
  • Outstanding communication and customer engagement and relationship management skills, you will need to love working with people, numbers & data, unusual mix but you are out there, and we want to hire you!!
