Working for the Global Content Creator & Editor based in our Head Office in Auckland, New Zealand, this role is responsible for:

  • Supporting the creation and organization of Icebreaker consumer content and for building a pipeline of brand relevant content for the consumer calendar to be leverage across all consumer touch-point on and offline
  • Supporting the creation of various types of downloadable content and the Icebreaker journal regularly, to expand our company’s digital footprint, awareness, subscribers, and leads
  • Managing key corporate and social responsibility for Icebreaker, working with governing bodies, industry groups and partners to ensure compliance and transparency

What your piece of paper, known as a CV, says about you:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, Advertising or related field
  • Proven success producing compelling written and visual content to lead media relations / and customer sell-in’s
  • Experienced in content production and copywriting for social media
  • Detail oriented with an ability to identify compelling content that aligns with brand standards (both visual and written)
  • Well-connected and well networked across the markets within all regions
  • Excels in problem solving, managing multiple projects and producing content under tight timeframes
  • Proficient with social media management software and digital analytics packages including Sprout Social, Onlypult, HootSuite (or similar), Facebook Insights, Adobe Social, WordPress, Radian6, and Google Analytics
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

Stuff you actually care about:

  • Prioritising content into relevant brand communication and streams of activity for the Brand & Channel Marketing hub to work on regional implementation
  • Building a robust matrix of content sources and networks, from news to consumer to corporate, including working with influencers and external partners
  • Collaboration with designers, product marketers, sales professionals, and external influencers and industry experts to produce relevant content that meets the needs of both key stakeholders and our audience.
  • Convince others in an engaging way that your creative ideas are worth investing time and effort in. This role is at the core of the marketing team, and others will rely on your work every single day
  • Be the ‘go-to’ Content expert for the Global Content Hub, including thought leadership, keeping up to date with trends and educating key business stakeholders on insights that drive results
  • Support the recruitment of Ambassador in market in line with global strategy
  • Develop community driven proposals and grassroots activation programs to support constant flow of content into the brand
