Levolor continues to offer great blinds and shades solutions in a wide variety of vertical, aluminum and wood blinds; cellular and woven wood shades; and sheer vertical window treatments. Levolor has recently expanded its product offering to include beautiful
 decorative drapery hardware, distributed nationally through home centers and other retailers. 

Levolor is undergoing an exciting transformation and we’re looking for an experienced, enthusiastic Senior Product Development Engineer. 

About the Role: 

The primary role of the Sourcing Analyst – is to support the execution of the strategic sourcing process for the Levolor business. The Sourcing Analyst is an integral part of the sourcing team providing key market analysis/trends, supplier identification and outreach, RFI/RFP development and execution, supplier response analysis and key industry analysis with respect to supply trends relative to the Levolor business.  The ideal candidate will act as the primary sourcing contact for all Levolor manufacturing plants for transactional issues, responsible for but not limited to handling pricing discrepancies, invoice variances, system set up issues for sourced items, and vendor communication in resolving issues under a certain dollar amount.

 Responsibilities:

  • Developing data based deliverables for spend analysis and baseline development.
  • Monitor, track, and create tools related to monitoring currency, material indexes, and category related trends.
  • Support the make/buy analysis process with current supply data supporting the sourcing category in question.
  • Manage the vendor scorecard process and performance metrics to include model creation, KPI tracking, and vendor communication around outcome.
  • Use analytic techniques to further support complex sourcing and supply chain projects.
  • Meet with regularly, and support category managers on developing strategy around supplier negotiations, projects, and category data planning.
  • Support deck creation, business improvement initiatives, and participate in all contract negotiations as needed.
  • Act as a business process resource for SAP supporting Senior Sourcing leadership in training, data processing, item set up and change and other activities as necessary to support the business.
  • Act as main contact for both cross dock deliverables relative to vendor shipment and invoice reconciliation and shipment issues relative to vendor deliveries.
  • Act as main point of contact for invoice variance resolution and research with sourcing category management.

 Education:

  • Bachelors/University degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics or relevant major/curriculum required.

 Work Experience Requirements:

  • At least 2 –5 years of progressive of sourcing, supply chain, operations, and/or analytical experience
  • Knowledge and experience with SAP. Should be knowledgeable of Codes, mass transactions updates, and overall system coordination. (Implementation experience although not required is a plus)
  • Intermediate to Advanced experience with Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Excel/Access/PowerPoint, and data modeling creation. Must be confident in ability to analyze large amount of data and provide leadership with high level directives to support decision making.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment and/or operations environment preferred
  • Working knowledge and understanding of ERP/MRP systems and their use in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a cross functional team and with multiple sometimes competing priorities required.

 Technical Experience and other Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability and expertise to utilize quantitative and analytical skills to assess business situations and put forward plausible solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills  
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and small amounts of information to define actionable steps.
