Member of a high performing team focusing on delivering solutions that support business goals and needs through leveraging existing SAP technology investments. Serves as a subject matter expert associated with content, processes, and procedures associated with respective SAP modules. Candidate has the ability to apply functional knowledge to the design and customization of the SAP system to provide integrated solutions. Writes functional requirements and specifications, develops test plans, and works with and resolves production issues. Interacts directly with business and stakeholders to build strong relationships and develop deep knowledge of business processes, needs and pain points. Has the ability to understand business processes and how systems and solutions support and enhance these processes.

Collaborate with IT teams to review and understand business requirements, assess available solutions, recommend options and implement solutions.


Translate business requirements into functional and technical designs, specifications and solutions.


Interact closely with internal and external teams and stakeholders to ensure technical and quality targets are met in the development and delivery of services and solutions.


Use SAP S/4 HANA functional knowledge, combined with strong knowledge of best practices and business processes to drive to the best solution across people, processes and technology.


Provide functional and technical support for existing and future implementations of SAP SD and related modules to business users and peers.


Work with developers and other end users to ensure solution meets business requirements and achieves user satisfaction.


Develop and maintain a deep understanding business process, procedures, solutions and systems.


Support business users in development and delivery of end user and ongoing training and education programs.


Continue to build professional business, and technical skills through practice, training, participation in User Groups and education.


Maintain and develop knowledge of current and emerging technologies. Identify new and emerging solutions, assesses their relevance and potential value to the organization, and contributes to briefings of staff and business management.


Follow the defined IT methods and approaches.


Initiate communication as necessary to ensure clear understanding of business issues, project status, etc.


Communicate clear and timely status reporting on progress, task assignments and issues.


Establish individual goals, objectives and accountabilities that are aligned with team goals, objectives and accountabilities.


Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.


Position requires regular and predictable attendance.

An employee in this position, upon appointment, should have the equivalent of the following:

Expert knowledge of systems and business processes within SAP SD

Expert knowledge of and experience with integration across SAP, specifically with WM, EWM, IM, PP, FICO and MM

Expert knowledge and understanding of the main business processes within sales and distribution and customer support.

Solid knowledge of inter-personal skills, combining technical competence with business and commercial awareness especially in handling contacts of all types and at all levels within and external to the organization.

Solid knowledge in application of IT change, release, problem, incident and continuity management processes.

Expert knowledge in configuration and has supported SAP SD and understands the integration points of with other SAP applications and modules – specifically IM, EWM, FICO, MM and PP.

Expert knowledge to translate business requirements, processes and designs into well documented, functional system designs and solutions.

Expert knowledge in analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills including the ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms.

Expert knowledge and application of testing strategies, methodologies and has been responsible for executing unit, integration and user acceptance testing.

Ability to develop and maintain an SAP application (minimum release ECC, preferably S4) across a make to order environment using the SAP Variant Configurator.

Ability to demonstrate a solid systematic, disciplined, and analytical approach to problem solving.

Ability to be self-motivated, take initiative and be able to work in a team-based environment, takes responsibility and shows skill in the management of change.

Ability to recognizes impacts of changes and ensures appropriate due diligence performed before making changes and is thorough in testing solutions before implementing to avoid rework.

Ability to be a team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate clearly, ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and take direct requests from business and IT colleagues, strong presentation skills with ability to provide end user training.

Ability to accurately complete assigned tasks in a timely manner with minimum direction.

Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, with attention to detail and closure.

Ability to demonstrate good organizational skills, detailed oriented.

Ability to hold themselves to the highest standards of professional behavior in dealing with clients, colleagues and staff.



Acceptable Training and Experience includes a Bachelors Degree in computer science or business related major, 3-5 years experience with SAP SD Modules. Certifications in the Customer Support areas are a plus.

Will occasionally stand and walk within office area and to and from various buildings at the facility site.

Work Environment

Full time in Broomfield, CO

Out of town travel may be required on an occasional basis
