Associate Financial Analyst

This role will offer the ability to connect with other divisions and key stakeholders while identifying cost savings, efficiencies, and ultimately driving improvements and changes.  We need your expertise in conducting analysis of divisional financial information, supporting new product introductions, maintaining system data, and other cost accounting related activities. 


How will you make an impact?

Prepare, analyze, and communicate reports, graphs, and charts to track key performance measures and variances to budget/forecast.

 

Maintain standard costs and pricing in SAP.

 

Analyze inventory transactions on a monthly basis to validate yields, quality, and productivity. 

 

Partner with cross-functional groups to obtain cost information from suppliers for components and fabrics. Works with operations personnel to conduct production trial runs. Analyzes product yields and machine capabilities to assist in determining costs associated with production.

 

Assist in divisional monthly financial reporting, including sales and gross profit by product line and monthly P&L statements.

 

Assist in preparing annual budget/forecast for the division, as well as loading data in the corporate consolidation system (Hyperion Financial Management).

 

What you will need?

Solid knowledge of profitability planning for a large size company.

Solid knowledge of the principles of and working with, a cost accounting system within a manufacturing system.

Solid knowledge of the processes and actual experience with budget preparation.

Solid knowledge of the principles and experience with spreadsheet modeling.

Solid knowledge of the principles and experience with business forecasting.

Solid knowledge of computer use and software such as, Word, Excel and SAP.

Solid knowledge of database management of financial information.

Ability to analyze available financial information to draw sound and reasonable conclusions from that information.

Ability to concisely and logically communicate information verbally and in written form.


Acceptable Training and Experience
includes a B.S. in Accounting/Finance and 2+ years’ experience in Cost Accounting.
