Position Overview:

LEVOLOR is seeking a Database Administrator to join the Research & Development team.  This position is located in Atlanta GA and reports to the Manager of R&D. The following is list of roles and responsibilities:


Change Management: Facilitate the routing, tracking and approval of engineering change requests.


PLM Administration:  Serve as group administrator of Teamcenter and manage PLM processes.


BOM Creation:  Work closely with Product Engineers and SAP programming teams to develop, implement and maintain BOMs in SAP.


Product Cost Analysis: perform cost analysis from raw material to finished goods (component cost, labor, overhead, packaging, etc.) of NPD or Productivity initiatives.


Research & Development team support: Support R&D and other cross functional teams to meet business goals through activities such as: sample order support and management of project SG&A spend.


Limited travel required (less than 5%, mostly domestic).



  • Associates Degree required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Computer Science or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of database administration experience
  • Strong SAP experience - Must have demonstrated experience with/be proficient in Material Master Data, variant configuration, BOMs, Routes in S4/HANA, Vendor Master, etc.
  • Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret data.


  • Proficient with MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Strong MS Excel skills – ability to create robust analysis, charts, look ups, macros, and pivot tables.
  • Background in stage gate product development process
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Experience with Google Sheets & Google Slides helpful.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


Preferred Experience:

  • SAP S4/HANA.
  • Teamcenter PLM experience with setting up, maintaining workflows, and folder structures.
  • Basic SolidWorks 2017 knowledge.
