Customer Experience Salesforce Admin
You may know that Hunter Douglas is the leader in the custom window coverings market but what you may not know is that we have an innovative and exciting technology team. This role is an opportunity to be the bridge between our Customer Experience team, internal cross-functional groups, and our dealer network and will be responsible for the day-to-day running of our current Salesforce Community, The Link. The Link has been recognized by Salesforce for its outstanding UX and integrations. This is a truly cross-functional role and you will have exposure to SF Communities, SalesCloud, ServiceCloud and Marketing Cloud; with the possible addition of Cloud Craze in 2019. If you have a desire to learn more about development, you will have the opportunity to partner with our developer team. The Link offers some exciting future projects including participating in a Salesforce mobile application pilot (only 5 companies across the globe were selected to participate, we’re pretty proud!).
How will you make an impact?
Acts as the administrator of The Link Salesforce partner community, including the creation and maintenance of workflows, custom fields, reports, dashboard development, and data flow management.
Builds new pages using Lightning components.
Identifies needs and works to continually improve Salesforce workflows, reporting, and processes.
Updates and maintains Salesforce system and user documentation, release notes, as well as The Link Best Practices.
Develops and documents processes, fields, notifications, reports, custom objects, page layouts, and workflows.
Provides technical expertise and support for implementing and testing new functionality.
Provides day-to-day end-user support including implementation, user adoption, system configuration and maintenance, formulas, testing, data integrity, and backups.
Maintains user roles, profiles, security settings, access levels, hierarchies, etc.
Acts as primary contact for The Link reporting requests including support of metrics and The Link adoption metrics, support for personalized adoption campaigns.
Utilizes analytical skills to respond to requested additions/changes and identify customizations appropriately.
Make recommendations regarding the Salesforce platform and processes.
What you will need?
Basic familiarity with key business concepts associated with accounting, manufacturing, and fabrication.
Expert knowledge of customer relationship management systems
Expert Salesforce configuration and technical/functional capabilities.
Solid working knowledge of reporting in Salesforce
Solid knowledge Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) knowledge is a minimum requirement.
Basic knowledge of .NET, HTTP, HTML, JAVA, Visual Basic
Acceptable Training and Experience includes 1+ year(s) hands-on administrator experience with Salesforce, building reports using standard Salesforce customizations & automation features; Demonstrated proficiency with Salesforce’s declarative capabilities, including workflows/validation rules, data security features, and deployment of changesets.
