Executive Director, Education & Training VR Content

Location:  San Francisco, CA

HTC Vive is looking for an Executive Director of Education & Training VR Content who’s eager to be a part of a world-class team bringing HTC Vive's VR content solutions to the Education & Training verticals.  Innovate bringing Education & Training VR content experiences to schools, higher ed, and enterprises.  Manage external VR content developers and develop showcase Education & Training VR content solutions with clear ROI. Develop business opportunities, negotiate agreements, service clients in Education & Enterprise, review production milestones, and provide effective feedback to developers throughout the product development life-cycle. Represent Vive Studios at developer and Education & Training VR events and focus on supporting premium VR content developers.

Your Impact:

  • Contract and manage external VR developers and effectively manage Education & Training solution projects through milestone reviews and approvals
  • Manage VR developer relationships with key developers active in the Education & Training VR ecosystem and provide support
  • Engage with educators, enterprises, and developers at VR events and trade-shows and develop business opportunities with new talented teams and client engagements
  • Develop Education lesson plans and Training guides for VR content
  • Create Education & Training use cases for the Vive Studios team, and serve as the industry expert in all things Education & Training VR-related
  • Ensure that Vive Studios is a resource for the entire Vive team across regions and business units in Education & Training developer needs and for creating showcase VR solutions
  • Manage developer feedback on VR SDKs, tools, hardware, and development kits as we engage with external Education & Training VR content development projects

Your Expertise:

  • 12+ years’ experience in digital content production and/or solutions in Education & Training as a producer, educator, and project manager
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Virtual Reality, Mixed Reality, and Augmented Reality experience is/are a huge plus
  • Excellent Leadership, Communication, and Organizational skills to motivate and align all stakeholders efficiently and effectively
  • Experience developing new and emerging digital content for Education & Training verticals
  • Expertise in Learning and Curriculum standards and applying these to Lesson Plans for VR
  • Push the boundaries of what’s possible in content development and Learning in VR
  • Experience managing the planning and development of Education & Training solutions with companies and external developers, including creating, managing, and reviewing milestones, managing stakeholder requests, dealing with licensors and managing workflows
