About Your Next Opportunity:

The AVP Consumer Sales, Americas has ownership for managing sales and distribution relationships in order to achieve defined business goals. This position reports to the General Manager of the Americas Region. A successful candidate is a person who understands the business drivers that are critical to consumer sales and can articulate this in a way that forms a strategic vision and tactical plan against which the sell-through can be mobilized in support.

Your Impact:

  • Responsible for sales & distribution relationships in the VR consumer space
  • Strategic owner of revenue generation plan and execution toward sell in and sell through metrics in line with aggressive growth targets
  • Management and execution of Americas’ region consumer sales partnership relations and consumer sales team
  • Collaborate with the regional executive team to define the regional VR Consumer sales strategy
  • Management of direct customer engagements with B2C partners and distribution strategy for consumer products region wide
  • Creation of engagement programs with US region Consumer channels including the formation of programs, mobilization of resources, execution, and ROI analysis
  • Escalation point of field issues specific to sales engagements with our partners
  • Work with internal product, engineering, and support teams toward supporting sales efforts with online and retail channels in the field
  • Drive day-to-day metrics of activity toward revenue generation and channel growth
  • Strategic owner in forming team and individual goals toward driving aggressive revenue targets
  • Will be part of a growing team that will require being responsible for following through on both individual business and team goals
  • Up to 50% travel to partner and customer sites as well as industry events

Your Expertise:

  • 10+ years’ experience on a high performing sales teams especially in the field of consulting and/or services
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field; MBA is a plus
  • Deep understanding of brick and mortar retail, online and digital sales and consumer segment for VR / AR
  • Experience with Latin America markets is a plus
  • Ability to operationalize, implement, and measure strategic B2C plans
  • Collaborative management style with key abilities to motivate and manage a high performing sales team
  • Ability to present a polished and professional presence with a customer-centric mentality
  • Virtual reality (VR) and/or gaming experience is highly desired
  • Exceptional presentation and written communication skills
  • This position will need an astute cultural sensitivity and the flexibility and ability to work effectively within a globally-run environment
  • Ability to work with diverse teams across regions and communicate across cultures
