Aparium Hotel Group is looking for a Revenue Manager to lead the revenue strategy at the Hewing Hotel in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  

The Hewing Hotel is located in Minneapolis’ vibrant North Loop neighborhood, more commonly known as the Warehouse District, joining cultural stalwarts Traffic Zone Center for Visual Arts and Target Field, home to baseball’s Minnesota Twins. With easy access to all interstates as well as Minneapolis’ Metro Transit Blue Line and North Star Commuter Rail, The Hewing sits at the literal crossroads of the Twin Cities.

The Revenue Manager is responsible for the development, execution, and measurement of strategic and tactical pricing, yield and inventory management to maximize room revenue, market share and profitability for the hotel. Focus on optimizing the mix of channels and customers to deliver optimal profit contribution by guest.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Drive Market Share and Revenue Performance through proper pricing, segmentation mix and distribution management.
  • Elevate market share rank within the competitive set.
  • Lower distribution costs across all channels (CRO, GDS, Brand.com, Third Party) and drive direct bookings.
  • Provide guidance on corporate transient negotiated and group pricing. Deploy on-going Group Sell Guidelines.
  • Clearly communicate to hotel team strategic vision and objectives on how to drive revenues and improve performance.
  • Lead the property weekly Revenue Strategy Management meeting.
  • Responsible for the performance and configuration of key systems: revenue management system, Interstate's forecast tool, central reservation system and distribution platforms.
  • Produce daily, weekly and monthly performance reports along with monthly forecasts and annual budgets.
  • Monitor, control and communication inventory levels and room rates restriction.

  • Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, associates may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel

Educational Requirements:

  • A 4-year college degree preferred
  • Three years’ relevant revenue management experience
  • Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
  • Must be proficient in Word, Excel and other applicable computer systems
