Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead all aspects of the US forecasting responsibilities to deliver all forecasts (annual forecast, regular update, long range/5YR) for marketed and pipeline products, refining models and processes to ensure timely and comprehensive outputs.
  • Proactively engage key stakeholders throughout each forecasting exercise to integrate current market insights, strategic considerations, competitive implications and critical brand initiatives into critical components of forecast.  Critical partners include marketing, market access, sales, contracting/pricing, supply chain, finance and all critical stakeholders ex US organizations (BD, HBP, HHC Finance, etc.).
  • Assess and validate forecast assumptions regularly and ensure outputs (units, cross sales, net sales, GTN, MS) are delivered aligned with HHC & HTU deadlines. 
  • Work with Market Access and Finance team to ensure the accuracy of all GTN assumptions related to pricing and contracting with external business partners and customers.
  • Support Contract Strategy with key data trends and pricing modeling of buy and bill products (eg: ASP models).
  • Evolve and optimize in house analytics and reporting to address organizational needs.  Including management of field teams reports, management of analytics contracts & vendors, transition of sales analytics in-house and other market analytics needs.
  • Identify and manage key data analytics & related external vendors to deliver regular performance tracking, execution and forecasting
  • Partner with field team leadership to support sales deployment and targeting activities.
  • Provide design, analytics and reporting support for field-based incentive compensation plans
  • Support Global BD team by leading US based forecasting, market assessment and competitive analysis for Business Development, LCM initiatives and ad hoc assessments.
  • Partner with 3PL/Distribution lead to support Supply Chain S&OP process with key data trends; forecasts and performance reports covering demand, inventory and MOH metrics.

Work Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years pharmaceutical industry experience, 5-7 years’ experience in forecasting within the pharmaceutical industry including building forecast models from scratch and/or using forecasting software.
  • Experience supporting field-based incentive compensation and business development commercialization planning required.
  • Market knowledge in Oncology buy and bill products is preferred.
  • Experience in specialty markets or rare disease is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to effectively facilitate, present information, and respond to questions from colleagues and vendors.
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately.
  • Ability to plan, manage and prioritize workload in an effective manner.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all MS Office products, including intermediate to advanced use of MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Working knowledge of key pharma data offerings; prescription data, DDD, 852, 867, etc.

Education:

Bachelor of Science degree in business, healthcare administration, or a related field is required.  Master’s degree or MBA is an additional positive attribute.
This is a hybrid work environment with Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday being the in-office arrangement.
