Director of Insights and Analytics

Main Responsibilities
Strategic Analysis and Insight Generation:
- Analyze commercial trends across various channels, including distribution, GPO, hospital, and clinics. Perform deep dives at the territory- or customer-level to uncover actionable insights.
- Develop and implement strategic product plans to maximize revenue, growth, and profitability.
- Deliver data-driven insights through the creation KPI reports, dashboards and other reporting tools to support performance measurement and strategic decision-making.
- Lead quantitative and qualitative market research projects to support brand strategy, lifecycle and business development opportunities.
Data Strategy and Management:
- Contribute to the overall commercial data strategy by identifying suitable data sources and converting them into actionable analytics.
- Work closely with commercial and finance leadership to ensure that the latest market and brand performance trends are accurately captured to support demand and revenue forecasts.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with Marketing, Market Access, Sales, and other departments to support the achievement of strategic objectives and optimize brand performance.
- Assist the executive team with insights and analysis for business reviews, board meetings, and other key presentations.
- Lead the preparation of monthly and quarterly business reviews, providing insights on past performance and future growth indicators.
- Display a high degree of creativity and innovation in problem-solving, proactively developing new approaches, processes, and methodologies to maintain consistent and reliable commercial operations.
Work Experience Requirements
Experience: · Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in commercial analytics, data science, or management consulting. · Minimum of 4 years in the pharmaceutical industry, including knowledge of pharmaceutical data sets and forecasting models. · Proven track record in developing and implementing data-driven strategies to drive business outcomes. Skills: · Proficiency in analytical tools and software such as SQL, Tableau, or similar. · Strong experience with data visualization, data management, and analytical methodologies. · Experience with field force analytics, including customer segmentation, targeting, and promotional response measurements. · Strong knowledge of secondary data sources including syndicated sales, promotional & marketing data, longitudinal patient level data, payer data, and pharmacy / trade data · Experience with market research process and development of market insights · Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information effectively to senior leaders and cross-functional teams. · Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Education Requirements Bachelor’s Degree required, with a concentration in statistics, economics, finance, or a related quantitative discipline. Advanced degree highly valued.
