Marketing Coordinator, Executive Marketing Strategy
- Create engaging and visually appealing content (static and video) for multiple social platforms for Hachette Audio
- Develop content calendars, manage day-to-day scheduling, posting, community engagement, and performance optimization across platforms
- Collaborate with HBG corporate and imprint social media teams to amplify audiobook content and maximize audience reach and engagement
- Track and analyze performance to inform future content strategy and optimize audience engagement
- Coordinate with the audio production team to create and share behind-the-scenes studio content for marketing and promotional purposes
- Maintain the email deployment calendar for consumer marketing and audio email marketing campaigns
- Assist in the execution of campaigns, with a focus on compiling and sending the Hachette Audio newsletter
- Assist in email segmentation strategy and list management
- Develop and update content across HBG’s consumer-facing website, including the homepage and campaign-specific landing pages
- Write SEO-rich marketing copy, ensuring consistency in brand voice and tone
- Assist in ad hoc campaigns
- Assist with Audio Marketing & Publicity administrative tasks, like processing invoices, scheduling meetings, and updating project management systems
- Compile and distribute a weekly audiobook publicity and marketing update to cross-functional teams across the company
- Fulfill internal and external requests for audio excerpts, audiograms, and promotional codes
- Plan, coordinate, and execute a reoccurring virtual event series focused on romance audiobooks
- Support audience research initiatives to better understand audiobook listener preferences and behaviors, with the goal of informing future content and platform strategy
- Assist in developing partnerships with other brands and influencers to cross-promote Hachette list and bring new audiences to our Hachette-run communities
- Explore podcast opportunities for Hachette platforms, authors, and brands
- 1 – 2 years minimum experience in marketing
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in Canva and other design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite
- Comfortable creatin and editing short-form video content
- Some knowledge of email marketing platforms such as MailChimp, Klaviyo, Braze
- Highly organized with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects
- Comfortable working with data and reporting on campaign performance
- Proactive, curious, and eager to learn

The compensation for this position is $54,000. Salary can vary based on a number of factors including skills, experience, and location — talk with your recruiter to learn more. There may be times that you will be required (or requested) to work overtime due to the nature of your role or exceptional workload issues or special projects.
