Marketing Operations Coordinator-Little, Brown Books for Young Readers

Little, Brown Books for Young Readers, a division of Hachette Book Group, seeks a Marketing Operations Coordinator to join our collaborative and enthusiastic Integrated Marketing team. This role reports to the Director of Creative Operations.

Responsibilities: 

  • Support Director of Creative Operations, including project management and fulfillment
  • Partner with Trade & Retail Marketing, Digital Marketing, School & Library Marketing, Licensed & Brand Marketing, and Publicity on project execution
  • Assist with marketing operations for digital catalog and sales materials
  • Create PowerPoint presentations for internal meetings and external pitch decks
  • Design sell sheets and marketing collateral for NOVL, LBYR, and LB School social media platforms as well as events
  • Coordinate materials for Focus and Sales Conference company meetings
  • Contribute to marketing campaign brainstorming
  • Handle general administrative responsibilities for the team

Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of experience in marketing, operations, and/or publishing
  • Love of books, with a particular enthusiasm for children’s and young adult books
  • Proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, and InDesign
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Adaptive work style, able to juggle multiple tasks and shift gears mid project
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced, deadline-driven, collaborative environment
  • Proactive problem solver who is creative, positive, goal-driven, and detail-oriented
  • Project management and copyediting experience a plus
