Night Inventory Control Supervisor
SUMMARY: Act as frontline supervisor to the Inventory Control and Quality Control Departments. Will assist the Manager of Inventory Control with all duties related to product management, inventory management, reconciliation, reporting, quality control and cycle counting.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accountability for maintaining the integrity of perpetual inventory.
- Review and analyze all daily inventory transactions.
- Directs staff on reconciliation of all variances and discrepancies.
- Adjust employee coverage throughout departmental positions in order to support production and outlying areas.
- Assist with daily Cycle Counting and reconciliation.
- Monitor packing operations.
- Monitor Quality Control operations.
- Maintain location utilization and monitor availability.
- Oversee product placement to ensure production is maximizing efficiencies.
- Manage and re-order supplies when needed.
- Assist with management of staff in department, including training and performance management.
- Acts as liaison with internal departments.
- Coordinate inventory audits when necessary.
- Conduct regular communication meetings with employees.

SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Strong technological ability; familiarity with warehouse management systems and PCs.
- Strong analytical and investigative skills.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the aptitude to communicate effectively in both individual and group settings regardless of audience
- Must be result-driven, and take appropriate steps to achieve goals while taking ownership of situations as needed

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Equivalent to at least a 2-4 year college degree or previous experience in an inventory control environment; preferably in a supervisory capacity.
