Part Time Market & Data Researcher

Who are we?

GreenOhm houses the largest available dataset of energy efficiency rebates, incentives and tax credits offered by utility companies as well as federal, state and local governments throughout the U.S. We power leading manufacturers, retailers, contractors, utility companies and associations with tools to drive sales, increase margins, generate leads and provide their customers with more savings. Our team of user interface and data experts partner with customers to create the most user-friendly, scalable, accurate customized rebate and incentive solutions available in the market.

What will you do?

As a Part Time Market & Data Analyst at GreenOhm, you will be a positive and productive member of the GreenOhm Team by maintaining the rebate database and analytic reports, providing research and guidance for channel partners, and offering customer service to new and existing clients.  The Market & Data Analyst will be responsible for the following including but not limited to:

  • Research
    • Maintain and update daily, weekly, monthly, and annually federal, state, local, and public/private utilities into the GreenOhm rebate database
    • Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly GreenOhm analytics
    • Research new utilities/rebates
    • Research current green energy trends
    • Provide research and strategic guidance for channel partners such as industry associations, private/public utilities, municipalities, and other energy-focused business partners
    • Work with Data Manager and CTO on maintaining rebate database issues and reporting requirements
  • Customer Service
    • Resolve customer issues related to rebate and database questions
    • Communicate with clients and rest of team/company to resolve any issues

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent of 3+ years of experience working at a technology, data, or analytics company
  • Skilled in Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Analytics, Internet searches, Adobe (PDF)
  • Ability to multi-task across several systems/windows at once
  • Previous Database Management
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and keen attention to detail
  • Demonstrates multiple project management experiences, not easily distracted
  • Analytical skills, logical thinker, process-oriented and problem-solver
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Team player
  • Strong work ethic, self-disciplined and self-starter
  • Great people skills that allow effective relationships at all levels, results driven, and capable of multi-tasking in a very intense, non-political environment
  • Good general business savvy
  • Would be positive a to have exposure to SaaS technology business, energy efficiency programs, channel partners (public/private utilities, municipalities, manufacturers of energy efficient products)
