Position Summary:
   
The Immigration Reporting & Data Specialist position will partner with the Practice Group Manager to lead the data team while assisting with data entry and reporting. Candidate should be fluent in English and be able to work overtime as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities:
   
  • Supervises Immigration Data Clerks including: training new hires, performing audit of client records for accuracy, ensuring deadlines are met, reviewing deliverables from data team and managing completion of reporting requests from client and escalating issues to manager as necessary
  • Acts as the lead for new client data migrations and other data requests, including contact with clients for necessary documentation
  • Generates internal reports, including monthly reports on status document expirations, max-out dates, green card eligibility, and conditional green card expirations
  • Updates case management system with immigration status documents, job details, and other client information
  • Completes ad hoc reporting requests from client and internal team, developing and implementing data reports and visualizations to effectively communicate insights
  • Audits client records and conduct data cleansing
  • Migrates data and documents for new clients to firm systems
  • Codes immigration templates into case management system
  • Works on or lead any other ad hoc data requests
  • Stays up-to-date with the latest data analysis tools and techniques

  • Ability to communicate professionally and interact effectively with all levels of personnel, including management staff and support staff
  • Ability to work on multiple matters simultaneously
  • Outstanding case management and organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written), professional demeanor and presentation
  • High attention to detail, outstanding organizational and analytical skills and the ability to manage time effectively
  • Be able to work independently toward team goals
  • Ability to respond quickly and positively to shifting demands
 Qualifications & Prior Experience:   
  • University/College degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience with data management/reporting in a law firm/office environment
  • Experience with data management, analysis, and visualization tools, including Excel and Power BI
  • Familiar with immigration processes or legal sector preferred
  • Computer proficiency in Windows-based software and Microsoft Office Suite applications
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python preferred
