The Data Strategist is a key strategic partner on the Lloyds Banking Group (LGB) Mediacom Digital Marketing account team. You will be leading a team of data scientists, ensuring close collaboration with LBG.
Our Data Strategist will be accountable for developing customer first digital media and measurement strategies that support LBG objective to be Best Bank for Customer. Identifying opportunities for innovation and advancement in support of LBG Contact Strategy, driving segmentation and personalisation whilst balancing customer and commercial priorities.
The Role of the Data Strategist:
This is a critical role, as part of the client and agency leadership team the successful candidate will be the go to person for all segmentation, targeting and operationalised delivery therein. Your work will help LBG become more effective at building insight-driven audience treatment strategies identifying and encompassing data from relevant, compliant platforms and sources.
As the Data Strategist you will bring new ideas forward as to how the business can optimise their customer analytics, challenging the POI teams to ensure their skills and thinking remains ground breaking and being recognised as developing industry best practice!
You will champion customer journeys, customer experience through segments and triggers.
What you will need:
• Proven track record in a leadership position within a data & insight led environment
• Proven track knowledge of working with customer data sets and be able to help drive a customer contact strategy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience of managing large, cross functional teams and projects at pace.
• Demonstrable experience working with data integration processes and functions
• Experience managing and improving the quality of large data sets that facilitate robust, timely attribution reporting
• A track record of building high performing teams through mentoring and coaching.
• Strong analytical skills with demonstrated experience using data-driven decision making and performing financial and operational analysis.
• Experience working on customer and marketing analytics e.g. Customer attribution and retention strategies.
