About the role

This Global AM role is joining the Sage Central team – a central support team who lead best practice, coordination, global communication and process operations for the Sage client across 8 different Neo markets (UKI, NA, FR, ES, DE, MEA, BR, AUS).
The team reports into the Sage Head of Paid Media and his subsequent media team, who roll up to report into the CMO. The Global Account Managers (AMs) are the day-to-day focal point of the account for both the central client and local Neo team leads.
They are initial point person for the coordination, collaboration and
enablement of media activity, highlighting and resolving issues, reporting and execution across Sage and Neo, and expected to have a complete and understanding of their clients’ media business cross market. 
They are also expected to have an understanding of their client’s overall business and marketing objectives, and work to identify and execute initiatives to drive progress and positive performance results and client management in paid media across Sage solutions and markets.

  • The Global AM is a steward of the global media planning and operations process and is expected to provide mid-level strategic recommendations around this process and its efficiency to the senior media team and/or the client. The position reports the Account Director, Media Director, and works with the Chief Technology Officer on data delivery projects.
  • The Global AM is expected to have a strong working knowledge of the media space (including traditional media) and available media research. They are also expected to be proficient with Neo tools (ad serving, data architecture, research) and procedures (both media and inter-department)
  • Maintaining local agency relationships. Leading weekly status with markets to ensure central and regional alignment on plans and activity, feeding all updates, feedback and action to and from central and regional teams
  • Coordination and delivery of global tasks such as reporting (social, paid search, display), monthly media spends in markets
  • Maintaining standardisation of process and master contract agreements in regions
  • Contribute data, slides and insights into global quarterly business reviews, creative performance reviews, and all Sage client meetings
  • Support across media innovation, planning, delivery and reporting for any local Neo teams and Sage Central
  • Knowledge and understanding of client/agency KPIs
  • Deep understanding of client’s ad serving/tracking platform, reporting needs and data dashboard (Qlik), and drive data audit and tech project organisation and management
  • Training of Account Executive (if/when hired).

Key Qualifications

  • Account management/Media planning experience from within a media agency, and/or multiple region management experience
  • However, above not essential if we believe you are the right person (see star qualities)
  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills (including presentation skills)
  • Strong analytic skills and ability to relate results to client business objectives
    • Able to articulate findings from media data into implications & key take-aways that improve the clients’ performance
  • Understands the concepts of reach, frequency, frequency management, ROI and strategic consumer planning
    • Experience planning & buying via DSP inventory systems also a plus.

  • Include Neo senior leadership in appropriate Client meetings.
