Position at Wavemaker

Due to a new business win we are looking for an Account Director to join the fantastic Wavemaker Lausanne team. This person will have responsibility for operational management of the planning and buying within Wavemaker’s international client portfolio.

We are looking for someone with experience in delivering digital communication solutions, ideally for international, digitally focused clients. Someone who has complete understanding of the digital advertising process from strategy development to campaign implementation as well as campaign analytics. 

Key responsibilities

To clients

  • Prepare strategic media recommendations including media selection, media planning and buying, reporting, research, measurement and key learnings from previous campaigns
  • Deliver in depth analysis of digital activities, identifying key learnings and ways to improve communication effectiveness.
  • Being the principal client point of contact on day to day digital & offline planning and buying matters for assigned clients
  • Technical implementation of ad-serving process including working with the trafficking team, tag generation, tech troubleshooting


  • Manage billing and finance procedures of the team together with junior account manager or finance team
  • Administration of the media bookings, supported by the junior account manager & finance team
  • Manage career development of direct reports, in collaboration with the Head of Client Solutions
