We are looking for passionate, smart people to be part of a new team for Centrica/British Gas account, one of our newest client in the agency. Measures of success –

In three months, you would have:

  • Daily contact with some of the leading marketers in the country
  • Produced best-in-class media plans across all media disciplines
  • Developed in-depth rationales to accompany media plans

In six months, you would have:

  • Presented Response-to-Brief and Post Campaign Analysis documents to clients
  • Gained confidence and trust of clients

In 12 months, you would have:

  • Overseeing elements of the day to day account management & planning output
  • Developed the Media Executive to a level where you can be confident in their planning and buying skills

Responsibilities of the role:
We are looking for planner with 1/2+ years’ experience to join the Centrica team at MediaCom.

  • You will be a client contact, forming close relationships with clients to become the face of MediaCom to them and their teams
  • Being part of the planning team also means understanding the development of the brand’s communication strategy, working in partnership with our strategists and clients’ other agencies
  • Ensure strong communication internally and with all other agency partners so information is efficiently and effectively shared
  • Forge solid working relationship with the internal team at MediaCom, orchestrating the development of multi-channel plans and responses to client briefs with the Connect, Marketplace and Biddable teams
  • Oversee day to day management of campaign delivery and client finances
  • Help develop strategic recommendations for clients in conjunction with Manager, AD, BD and strategy team
  • Brief internal teams in an inspiring way

  • The candidate will have at least 1/2 years’ experience of working in either a media agency or similar environment, preferably in the UK
  • Being used to being the client’s contact and organising and briefing internal (and external) members of the team to deliver on expectations
  • Happy ensuring the day to day running of a large account including smooth financial management, juggling diary commitments, communicating with internal team members through status sessions and earning the trust of other agency partners
