LBG comprises some of the leading high street banking brands including Lloyds Bank, Halifax, Bank of Scotland and Scottish Widows. You will be working alongside a conversion business director and together will be the primary point of contact for the senior client conversion team.  You will also work closely with colleagues across our specialisms and your clients to build on data-informed insights and develop challenging media strategies for their products.

Previous FS experience is welcome but not necessary.  We’re looking for confident, engaged Planners who are looking for a big challenge and excited to work in a different way within a highly skilled and integrated team


Key requirements

Planning and experience

  • Passion for planning and proven experience building strong conversion strategies and ideas in response to client briefs with the ability to discuss and defend the role of different media and their collective contributions with clients
  • Very strong working knowledge of the full media landscape and ability to build and understand a media plan independently
  • Excellent Digital planning skills and market knowledge e.g. latest developments in programmatic – essential to demonstrate planning abilities with Digital as a key role of an idea or approach. Show how you have embraced Digital innovation and encouraged clients to do the same
  • Experience of building close and constructive working relationships with senior clients, having the confidence to challenge briefs, encourage best practice and work with the Business Director to make strategic decisions for their products.
  • Responsibility for leading media planning strategy and work closely with a team of specialist divisions (Insight, Strategy, Activation as well as Planning) to clearly translate a central comms platform or idea into a meaningful media plan and oversee activation
  • Excellent written and presentation skills to ensure the team deliver high quality work that can be easily communicated to our client
  • Highly numeric to be able to work with and decipher trends and challenges from the clients’ customer / business data


  • Inspiring and motivating both your own team and the client to produce the best work possible with experience of building engaged and energised teams will be key
  • Confidence overseeing and guiding delivery across a team of Planning Managers and Execs
  • Ability to lead junior members of the team, delegating effectively to ensure high quality and consistent work is delivered on time
  • Responsibility for training and developing junior team members
