Solutions Architect - Business Intelligence  

Performance Solutions / Feb 2024  

   

Position Overview  

As a Solutions Architect within the Performance Solutions team, you will play a pivotal role in the Business Intelligence function. Your primary responsibility will be to design and implement innovative solutions that streamline data capture, reporting automation, and measurement methodologies. This role sits at the intersection of technology, data analytics, and automation, contributing significantly to our mission of empowering data-driven decision-making and achieving best-in-class digital paid media performance  

  

Reporting of the role:  

This role reports to the Analytics Business Director.  

  

Key Responsibilities:  

  1. Solution Design and Transformation:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement end-to-end solutions for capturing data throughout the entire lifecycle of digital media campaigns.
  • Transform data into actionable insights, ensuring alignment with business objectives and client requirements.

   

  1. Business Intelligence and Automation:
  • Work closely with the Automation teams to build and design tools that drive critical business results for our clients.
  • Play a key role in enhancing existing automation processes and developing new methodologies to optimize digital media performance.

   

  1. Client Collaboration:
  • Engage with key clients, including Coca-Cola, Adidas, PlayStation, iRobot, and others, to understand their unique business challenges and goals.
  • Provide expertise and guidance on leveraging Business Intelligence solutions to meet and exceed client expectations.

   

  1. Team Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with Insight and Ad Operations teams within the broader Performance Solutions group to ensure seamless integration of solutions.
  • Actively contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.

Measures of success  

In three months, you will:   

  • Learn how each client has been set up on our database systems.
  • Learn how to execute core reporting tasks via SQL, Python, and Tableau 
  • Understand how key automation tools setup have been.

In six months, you will:   

  • Become an integral part of the team and take ownership of key client deliverables.
  • Learn how to build end-to-end data solutions for key clients from scratch.
  • Work directly with client teams across the business
  • Become an advanced user of our systems and tools.

In 12 months, you will:   

  • Design new reporting solutions and know how to onboard new clients.
  • Understand the direction of the industry when it comes to privacy, and what we need to do to help our clients adapt.
  • Test and integrate new tools and techniques, understanding their advantages and limitations, leading to the development of improved processes and increased efficiencies.

   

What you will need:

  • Experience how to multi-task, delegate, prioritise, and manage expectations.
  • Able to break down a problem, get to the heart of the question, and come up with a way of fixing it
  • Demonstrate collaborative teamwork and citizenship.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including simplification of technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Willingness to learn from others and share own knowledge.
