Thanks to new business and company growth, we are now looking for a Social Media Account Director to work across 3 top tier and international automotive accounts.

The opportunity is for a dynamic social media specialist who has outstanding knowledge of paid, owned and earned media. The role entails working closely with the Client Teams on delivering and implementing social media strategies and collaboration with the Creative Social Media team that sits on the same floor. Along with the Digital Media Lead you will be responsible for driving the social media agenda for the clients.

Experience and skills required

Social media is your passion. You keep abreast of social media developments, you have an understanding of the different nuances of each platform – Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, LinkedIn, Whatsapp and other emerging platforms. You understand how owned activity influences paid activity and vice versa.

You are able to translate marketing objectives into an actionable social strategy. As this will be a hands-on role you must have experience in social media planning and buying. As such you are familiar with the native platform buying tools as well as various 3rd party buying tools. You have an analytical brain and are an effective problem solver. You are capable of identifying opportunities to drive campaign performance. 

International experience and managing multi-market campaigns is a must while experience of the automotive category is desirable but not essential. Community management skills are a plus but not essential.
